Honestly the it factor of the source material is the visuals, if they weren’t gonna fully embrace that look then they should have just went with a traditional Supergirl movie - especially for her first DCU movie. Might as well with how it looks

Fair but the story is a really good first story for Supergirls introduction. We also didn’t see all the 9 planets mentioned so I wouldn’t count it out completely yet.

I’m just trusting the comic story unique but what they’ve shown story wise of protect a child and find cure fir krypto is extremely generic

Adaptation also doesn’t mean 1:1 so I think it’s unfair to expect that. Know you didn’t read it but for other people I don’t think it was ever gonna be exactly how the comic is. Just hoping it hits the same and they don’t change the story a lot.
