dont tax dollars go towards the death penalty too lol

How much does it cost to carry out the death penalty?

  • Aug 1, 2020

A life in supermax prison isolated from anybody else with nothing to do all day has to be the ultimate f***ing punishment, I can’t imagine wanting to stay alive in prison for the rest of your life rather than be lethally
    Injected

idk exactly, but you have to consider them being on death row + the death penalty

Do you really want your tax dollars to contribute to sheltering this heathen?

They already contribute to giving murderers tenure 👮

    because he serves no use.

Would be better put towards unethical human testing

  • Aug 1, 2020

they'll (probably) try it again. the opinion makes it clear that the murder convictions weren't overturned, and that he could potentially still receive a death sentence by another jury.

  • Aug 1, 2020

hilarious considering he's only become more radicalized in jail. regardless im always against the death penalty tho. Just let him rot.

  • Aug 1, 2020

Cost more to put him in death row and honestly I feel like life in prison is a way harsher punishment than just being put down. Nobody should be sentenced to death

    Wrong

which is ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense

killing him should cost 1 bullet and it should be wrapped up within 48 hours. burn the body, no burial needed.

  • Aug 1, 2020

should be put down like a dog

  • Aug 1, 2020

Spending the rest of life eating garbage food, not being with your family, lack of privacy, not being able to wear the clothes you like, no p****, being bored everyday seems like a way harder punishment. I’d choose getting put down over life in prison

Lots of appeals and investigations cause the United States constantly executed a bunch of innocent people and still do every now and then

“Overwhelming evidence” could possibly mean an innocent person of color having his s*** planted at a murder scene or being accused of something he didn’t do and a jury agreeing and being wrongfully executed. There’s precedent to follow

Damn you really trying to go back to even further level of archiacness with execution style death penalty, I see you

And while you're at it, seems like you down with less opportunity for the accused to have the opportunity to defend themselves in court, on the off chance (which has happened multiple times) that they are actually innocent.

Death penalty is the most hypocritical law of all time. You can't kill people but the state is allowed to kill you

  • Aug 1, 2020

I think creating a new lawless society where murderers are free to live among other murderers is a much more ethical solution than the death penalty. Wanna live without laws? Fine, you can live on this island with all the other killers and fend for yourself. Catch and cook your own food and live in a house that you’ve built instead of one built by law-abiding citizens

Even if this is a s***ty idea it’d at least make a great movie..
