making this in 1992 is impressive

still need to dig through a lot of their s*** but Oxygen is top 5 most cathartic songs ever

Loved them leaning back into that earlier gothic folk era sound on leaving meaning, would love if the new album continued that..

cant get into their 2010s albums except some stuff from the seer but filth one of my fav albums

I re-listened this earlier and I didn't feel it
I don't know, I return to some Jarboe tracks from time to time but album doesn't do too much for me except for the lyrics.
Wonder what's your ranking, I re-listened them again and I think the 2010s trilogy is better than most of their 90s work except Soundtracks, think they transcended the genre with TS-TBK-TGM.
Can't wait for the new album.

need to relisten to a lot of them to revalue overall tbh it’s been a minute, but yeh the 2010s is a special spot for me

2010's albums are full of songs that last 20 or even 30 minutes and I was a lot surprised that I can be listenin them without feeling they are dragging.

can't stand To be kind but the seer is the best in that regard i think, apostate is just insanity im guessing their live shows must be incredible. this the swans i enjoy the most tho s*** is disgusting

I’ve really only listened to The Seer and To Be Kind, both of which I enjoyed immensely, but Idk why I never really took time to go listen to the rest. It was around the time I was jamming to a lot of Sonic Youth and going through their stuff
