I actually had that same idea too lol
You Netflix pulled some similar s\*\*\*. The Fight Club twist as I call it at this point is used time and time again. Character doesn't sleep normally and "whole time we hinted that the narrator was unreliable so really they secretly murder when no one is looking even themselves " s\*\*\* is getting old
Barely got to episode three
I am going to finish up then back track thread and see what everyone thought
Episode 6
This a recap episode basically
Curious on your spoiler free thoughts on the show as a whole
you just finish show?
Yeah just bummed me out about people's mental health

Yeah I will be done in like 40
Yeah just bummed me out about people's mental health
S*** could be a lot better with a health care system. People are dismissive and not that understanding of one another. We definitely lack empathy about how to approach people with care rather than judgment

You watch recent Atlanta? This made me want to catch up on it to see what he was cooking in final season
So far from episode 6 all I am getting is
we like it with star power and surreal story but we struggle to look at the reality many are dealing with. However with the star power I was still like this is kind of odd or over done. Like something still feels missing show wise but think Episode 7 may connect a lot of it.
12 white girls jumping on a black girl in her sleep isn't cause for concern too
Episode 6
Aight wrap this up please
Started first episode
Whoever came up with having her leg shake like that in the hospital is genius
Also, texting I miss you and hearing her phone beep
Dominique Fishback is so good
Haven't seen yet
My spoiler free thoughts and I haven't really read other people's thoughts too much in thread or reviews at all. I also need to watch final season of Atlanta slightly relevant cause I know some of it was apparently really good
I am on finale but overall for me it feels like part of the show started stronger than it ends for me. More mysterious and unsettling at beginning. Humor doesn't land for me throughout. It was a lot of references sometimes to place it in reality sometimes added to it sometimes just awkward. Solid marathon for most part. Don't know if I am missing something or its straightforward.
Was fun to see black people in a weirder property rather than the typical. Its a horror show in a way with unsettling music music cues even on simple human interactions. Solid camera angles, lighting and shots. Not as controversial as many made it out to as a show. Personally I don't know if this needs more seasons but know some want it to cover other fanbases.
Definitely if you do watch avoid reviews, others opinions, spoilers.

Someone said I need to finish ATLANTA for me to gel with this and they may be right. Haven't watched s3 and 4 and apparently this show borrows heavily some elements from s3

Yeah thats why I am like maybe I need to see season 3 and 4 to connect with this lol. But even then I got to look at this show as its own piece. Even if it borrows from Season and 3 and 4 of Atlanta. Part of it just not doing a lot for me. Again a solid marathon I watched it but like something feels missing. Maybe the final half of this episode will connect it
First episode was OK
Eating the Cherry Pie was a little on the nose
lol there is a lot that is on the nose in this show
