first episode was crazy, idk if I should keep watching not super hooked yet

Yeah I agree on all that and I’m not fully on board with the Dre killed Marissa theory. But somethings (such as the death being listed as a suicide) would go under that episodes theme of black murders falling through the cracks.

But yeah it does require picking and choosing what is unreliable and what’s not to make the theory work. I just think they put enough bread crumbs that they want that to be theorized

Finally starting

Episode 1

Chloe can act better than I expected. Definitely some cool camera angles that you would be less used to that would play with distance and background. The use of music or sound cues made even the most basic moments in others shows more uneasy here. Also really good use of lighting and angles. I liked the facetime angle of the call like trapped in the phone.

Some of the humor kind of just ehhh for me but I am in for the overall plot. Dre's eyes getting so wide with the Naija tickets lol. The drama of having Naija tickets, being a diehard stan and obsessed with her to the point of ruining your life. As real as it is for some people of course looks a lil silly to me but gonna let them cook . Festival when she feels empowered even if she is a some what anti social person person connects it so far. She a really heavy sleeper in general. LOL she could check her phone for clues to be sure she killed herself or what was going on but text herself back right away. Killing herself cause her sister didn't pick up one night and her boyfriend cheated seems a little out there .

But all in all Amazon and Glover got something here where I will watch another episode.

Episode 2

That song definitely not enough for Beyonce fans to get mad about but one thing twitter and social media or articles will always do is remove all context from something . Splice it up rather than see whole picture. Humor not really hitting for me still

Confused on why the family asked her to leave but sure it is a twist that will make sense in time. Oh she on a disappointing men murdering spree . The smoke fighter poster next to the smoke of her gassing him up was a lil much :deadfast:. Oh she shot her lol I have accepted none of this show supposed to be grounded in any sort of reality. I need to catch up on Atlanta. Feels so far like a long form horror movie. LOL the stripper shooting him reminded me of Pimp story cause its gonna bond them when they barely liked Dre.

I definitely need to catch up on Atlanta. Nearly feels like I must not be getting the humor . sound cues throughout show are consistently dope though.

Starting Episode 6. So far feels like I was more interested in season towards beginning. Episode 4 derailed a lot for me. But hearing this episode is good so maybe this will reconnect it
