i've had it since i was a child i would automatically see shapes or colors in association with specific letters and numbers and music sounded like the windows media player vizualisation thing

sadly i feel like im losing it with time

yup likewise, i still have this though

I wonder how many artists don’t know they have it

So many people w it don’t seem to realize no one else sees it

the only color this happens to me with is dark purple

I most likely don't have it tho and jus associate "dark sounding music" with purple for some reason

i think you and the producers are confused and what he means is stuff that sounds like blue and yellow by the used

got a chance to dig into this finally

    here are some thoughts:

i've known that i was colorblind since kindergarten as i used to draw my fire trucks green and my grass red pretty consistently

    cue the audience going awww

but this company called enchroma created these sun glasses that allow colorblind people to see with "normal color vision"

ever since, i have been able to see the world "normally" and while i didn't cry like a lot of people i've seen on youtube, instinctively, the world does feel "right" while i'm wearing them...

the funny part though is that i still am not able to accurately name the colors that i'm seeing as i never learned what they actually looked like due to my vision... (idk if that makes sense)

anyways, i started getting into weed 2 months before quarantine and my whole world changed

suddenly i know longer needed my sunglasses to see the world "the right way"

and when i close my eyes, i'm able to see visualizations and so many colors... especially when i listen to music.

it's almost like there is a windows media player visualizer in my mind

i haven't tried any other psychedelics
yet but i'm looking forward to it...

    psychedelia part II and III
etc etc whenever i do btw

    4 those who missed psychedelia:

    notesfromphilo.art/essentials

after having edibles for the first time, i could feel myself breaking through all the filters and barriers in my mind that i'd built up due to my upbringing...

i want to dive deeper into the backstory that got me here, but for now, i am happy with the way this song introduces an experience that has changed everything for me...

tying it all back to the topic at hand, everything i was making at the time felt like red to me...

due to being colorblind i would often ask people, how would you describe the color red to someone who has never seen it?

now i feel like i have an answer...

appreciate you always creating such great threads, @safe

you for sure gotta do something with that safe house name

    Your average color difference: 93

    Your color variety: 105.37

    Reaction Test: 100%

There is a high probability that you resonate with synesthesia. There are many cognitive advantages tied to Synesthesia and Meditation.

With 10 minutes of Synesthesia Meditation per day, you explore and discover more of your synesthetic abilities.

I still think it's bullshit, though

I mean if you're picking between chord changes for example are you more inclined to pick the one that satisfies your synesthesia? Does it even give a "satisfying" feeling at all? Are some better or worse than others?

Im guessing its probs different for everyone but id love to know your experience

I tend to follow it when I'm more inspired.

I also notice that I'm favouring a lot min7b5 chords and maj6 chords in progressions for no reason, they look and sound beautiful
