New Synthworks Saturday, it's been 3 weeks. This week it returns. Ohh my.

If you check out my dl, I put the unreleased & live rips together. It’s pretty cool. It’s a lot of stuff I compiled.

One unique thing about this dude, all his solos he improvises When he plays live. I noticed that and I was like “ oh s*** this guy likes to go without the net on the tightrope “ 😨

Now, about the eLectric one, holy s*** the sott reissue & layout. My god it is so amazing to open up the book & see the amount of Detail & thought put into this monster.

No offense to npg, but they would never ever do this. They would choose these computer images & use after effects & make it look like Prince is going to host a club event for a funky night out at a club called ‘“ fuscia eternity “ I don’t understand why people geek out at computer filtered photos to that level where it just looks like a cd baby showcase. 😒

if you are new to Synthworks, I have another one this week.

It’s really simple: I choose a worthy artist who does something different with synthesizers-keyboards. Then I piece together a little history of said artist or group & then I just move on to the next one. I try to give you a bundle of their work & what is available. Streaming or dl.

But this week volume iv tomorrow, I will unveil a name I think a few people will like a lot. Probably around 9pm est. Synthworks volume IV. My goal is to have a cross section of the people from past & present. “ Enjoy it “ as the late Brody Stevens once Put it 😎

Hitting that pocket on top of a unreleased tune of a song that isn’t even his, just one he had in the stash. Look at the confidence, hitting that harmonic like he’s about to open the gate to a dr strange portal. When he moves across the fretboard , he’s just as nice as he’s on the bass with the synths. Listen to that glide & that sense of control live in the studio with a song that’s his friend’s that he’s improv’n just for this station. St. Sven 😭😭

the goat- about to listen- I just stumbled on this by accident. the new album! Crushed sounds like some Madhouse. His ear is top notch

"This album was inspired by the 80s Minneapolis Funk sound. in particular bands like Mazarati, The Family, The Time and other bands manufactured by Prince.

Princes music for the movie 'Batman' really stuck with me when I saw it as a 6 year old back in 1989. his use of voice playing bass lines, knocking drum sounds and rough samples have been an influence to me so I wanted to put something together resembling my love for this type of music.

I wrote these tracks over the course of the last three years and felt I needed to release them when the time was right. Everything was programmed, recorded, mixed, mastered and performed by myself except for Saxophone on 'Crushed' performed by 'Zack Barrett'.
