Well aside from Beyonce, this isn’t a shock. SZA was highly anticipated amongst EVERYONE, especially women (those who are actively streaming) and she’s not problematic. Twitter can make or break streams and I truly think that’s what hurt Kendrick’s sales.

That's actually an interesting point I wasn't taking into account, it probably did have an effect but hard to tell to what extent
I don't want to bring up the Drake Kendrick comparisons but I wonder if Her Loss would be doing higher or just about the same without the Meg line and discourse around it
