After Hours and Dawn FM are way better than any of the trilogy albums other than EoS (yet)
Both are cinematic masterpieces that have surpassed the old trilogy

If this third album is as good as AH and Dawn then there will certainly be a conversation had about Trilogy 1 v. Trilogy 2

This is like saying Dangerous is better than Thriller because it sounded cleaner and modern at the time

HoB has some blemishes that Dawn FM doesn’t have. Which is understandable since it’s his first project and he’s taken those blemishes and diminished them

I haven’t heard Dangerous but I’ve always thought Bad was better than Thriller
Thriller was carried by the music video, not the music itself

HOB is still one of his best and his work as a songwriter and artist has improved 100% from there. I still think AH is truly his best project ever with HOB placing second

Ppl are gonna see eventually that After Hours and Dawn FM (AH more than Dawn) take all the things that made those tapes so amazing and all the things that make his pop music so amazing, and meshes them together perfectly.

When all is said and done this new Trilogy will be Abel’s definitive work IMO
