easy peezy tbh
I thought it was too easy for there to be no 2nd phase. Was not expecting a full blown 2nd fight tho
Okay I think I have a few hours left till credits
I would like to be done with this game already

playing through tales of the abyss rn and i feel the very same
Man it’s like they ripped Dohalim out of a completely different game I like everyone well enough but this man is superbly written compared to the rest of the party. What gives?
Finally done.
It got extremely convoluted in the final arc, and really was atrociously paced. Once I got to the final boss room I took a short break from the main story and did a bunch of side quests, explored, did an optional dungeon etc. Pretty much just savored it before it was over and it definitely helped me appreciate the game more cause honestly I was not feeling that final arc for the most part
The final boss battle itself and the actual ending was really great imo, but you have to slog your way through the final dungeon to get there so oof. I KNOW I would’ve dropped the game a couple points if I hadn’t taken a break from the main story
Overall I’d score the game somewhere between 8-8.5 It has plenty of issues but I think it marks a big step forward forward and I’m very excited for the next one.
Just beat the 4th lord. S*** getting spicy
A couple hours past the 4th lord
The demo didn't immediately capture me but playing the game from the beginning lets the combat make much more sense and you get a nice feel for it as mechanics are gradually introduced
Liking the game a lot so far. Story is okay. My one biggest gripe is the inability to dodge out of artes. This would open up combat so much more, make the pace even faster, and just feel much better
I love playing as Law but it's wack being locked into multi hit artes and not being able to doge out
Do y'all really swap between characters every battle? s*** gets tedious since it automatically starts you as Alphen I just stick with him.

You can change who it starts you off as and also change who you walk around as
If I wanted to play as Law or something I just made him the leader and made him the default person in battle
Never have to switch during an actual battle

Not as long as the “first season”
But you have a LOT of game ahead of you

you’ve got like 10-12 hours left depending on lvl of completion

Yeah I might be done with this game for good after beating Vahlran I got other s*** to play
Finished the game in just under 40 hours
This the first full on JRPG I've played and it was pretty cool. Combat was a bit repetitive and the story dragged towards the end. Whole game could've been about 10 hours shorter.
I'd give it about a 7.5/10.
Man this game is so great, I just recently got back into it got about 30 hours logged on it so far, finished the whole Viscint part yesterday not sure why far I am percentage wise til the end of the game but I am enjoying it.
