yeah, those fights were pretty cool. was happy to see xillia 2 got something in this game having chronos as the final boss of that dungeon. wish the dungeon itself was good though (guess that goes for the dungeon design for the entire game). legit was done with that place in an hour

The way they set out the last portion of the game is absolutely f***ing abysmal.

One massive chore. Where I just skipped the mini cutscenes all the time because I was getting so angry with how many their were. And they were every few seconds.
Even to the point where you'd have a massive cutscene, you then move to the star which was in front of you to then trigger another custscene. This was constant.

Not sure why they did it. Absolutely makes no sense to me.

Other part that pissed me off was a boss I thought was the end game, where you even got a new anime video with Tales Of Arise to pop up through it. Only to have the game continue.
I darent think the amount of people googling the ending to find out THAT wasn't the true ending.

Music and combat is stellar. Again untill the last sections where the enemies and bosses were just massive sponges and again were a chore because I just wanted to finish the game.

I fled so many battles near the end just because the game made me lose interest.

I was going to change the difficulty but I got around running away from every battle that let me.

That's a massive fault in the game.
To have that section and then end it the way it was with that cutscene. Many people all over Reddit have said the exact same thing.

I personally wouldn't say it's crying, more to the point at how bad it is. Critiquing.

But from then onwards the game is abysmal. Not my fault they ruined what could've been an incredible game

The demo didn't immediately capture me but playing the game from the beginning lets the combat make much more sense and you get a nice feel for it as mechanics are gradually introduced

Liking the game a lot so far. Story is okay. My one biggest gripe is the inability to dodge out of artes. This would open up combat so much more, make the pace even faster, and just feel much better

I love playing as Law but it's wack being locked into multi hit artes and not being able to doge out

You get use to it. Knowing when to time certain artes n still having a window to dodge

just hit 40 so I'm doing the advanced training grounds for each character
