I couldn't imagine thinking that tweets are from real people
I don’t get why that tweet led to this much discourse. He said nothing wrong.
Hip Hop artists taking to other platforms helps them, as individual artists, market themselves to a wider audience. It’s not deeper than that.
Kendrick isnt handling this "win" very well.
These hip hop outlets that tried to gift Kenny a W getting buyers remorse real quick lmaoo

Because MR "Im who the Culture is feeling" snubbed BET Awards and ran to a white womens magazine for his first interview.
He'a a fake and a fraud and his boys are spiraling trying to make sxcuses
If I publicly accused a black man of pedophilia for clout I too would avoid talking to black people that may hold me accountable then diss black culture on let the party die
While getting ready to tap dance for the rich at the super bowl
all this. even ray charles can see the play
But why would he feel a way about that if he wasn't jealous/insecure? Drake didn't send any shots at him and Cole and Drake talking their s*** isn't come cardinal sin. They're rappers. Why would that make him mad or irk him?
You're also getting something wrong: there's nothing wrong with feeling envious/jealous over someone. Those are emotions we've all felt at some point over someone. It's what you do with those emotions that matter.
On Buried Alive interlude, Kendrick explained how he saw Drake's success up close and felt triggered because they were around the same age and yet, Drake was so far ahead of him and he channeled that energy into making great music that ended up elevating his own career. That's what you're supposed to do.
I don't believe Kendrick isn't envious of Drake's success and dominance (every rapper is, regardless of what they might say). I also think Drake would love it if he had the same kind of acclaim and cultural acceptance Kendrick has. Ain't nothing wrong with them two feeling that way about each other. The difference is that Drake didn't jump out and diss Kendrick as a result of how he might have felt about him. He focused on himself and remained dedicated to his craft and the work. Kendrick saw Drake and Cole doing what they're supposed to do and instead of him just getting active as well and asserting his place in the game like they were doing, he dissed them because he knew that was the easier thing to do.
Kendrick been envious of Ddake since Wayne picked Drake instead of him - thought we all
knew this?
I don’t think Kendrick was bothered by narratives that only existed in the Drake sxn on this site
Rap Roundtable were goading Kendrick for months especially after FPS dropped.
Yall sure yall hip hop fans?
Drake and Kendrick have both recently avoided hip hop outlets but neither fanbase can read so it turns into a beef thread
They living too vicariously through their favorite rappers
These guys are millionaires, who only thinkin bout they bread not yall
Punch is full of s*** lol
After all that s*** he talked about hip hop journalism, his next best move is to have Kendrick run to Harper's, and their demo is upper class white women.
And to actually be on topic itt for once, Punch is right
No, he isn't. Kendrick isn't helping or expanding hip-hop in any way by running to a women's magazine that primarily targets white women for his first interview in years and after the biggest rap battle of all time. If Drake did that, y'all would have his head on a spike.

The mag is apparently ran by two black women

Hip-Hop is 2 things, a culture and a commodity. Commodities values and interests increase when expanding it's consumer base

That don't mean s***. Congrats to them for that job.
It ain't a magazine for black folk and it got zero to do with hip hop. Essence, Ebony and Jet were right there.
So when TDE does it it’s called extending the realms of hip hop but when others hip hop artist do it they either culture vulture or not what the culture feeling?
Who gave these b****es of TDE the mantle on what to decide for hip hop?
