changed my life for the better, been meditating for little over a month and it’s dope. just more in tune with the present moment and enjoying things more and worrying about the past and future less, not to say i still don’t.
also this was after a 5/6 month depressive time period and i haven’t been in that mind state since

just started writing in this journal its really relieving like weight being lifted from the brain
How do you think you got there? I tend to do mindful with a bit of transcendental mantra’ing for centering
i was researching eastern philosophy such as buddhism and taoism. when i had that kind of knowledge along with long periods of meditation, i was able to get there.
I use HeadSpace for meditation. Its an app that teaches you how to meditate properly and has a bunch of courses for specific situations you are trying to overcome.
The main thing is to be present :)
Mandatory at this point. Doesn't have to be religious. Just find a quiet area, get comfortable, close your eyes and fight your demons.

yeah bro you have to introduce consistency and the change will come. There is a reason it is the second pillar.
As for the possessions and thoughts, I would begin to do some charity work or volunteer or sumthing as well as look into the significance of dhikr in general as well as it’s emphasis in Sufism.
