These movies are like a video game tech demo but just for new ways for weirdos to see gore. The acting is worse than p*** tier. The story is ASS. There’s nothing redeeming about these unless you got a hard on for gore which if so you should seek help.

What really made this movies click in my mind, was when I saw that the director was also writing, editing, producing, and doing the SFX so you really have to realize that everything about this movie is up to him. And he CHOOSES to make "films" completely devoid of any cinematic life/style/panache, with "bog standard to the point of abstraction" writing, and no plot barring little signifiers you've seen from other movies. Comes off as amateurish. The man is clearly skilled in the art of special practical effects, but he can't do literally a single other thing on set. And you have him shouldering this entire production on his back. So naturally, it feels like a snuff film where the creator has no regard for human (read: young defenseless female) life in any way shape or form. They're not even punished "for being h****" like most other slashers, there's no push and pull of tension. Just torture and gore. Extended unflinching gore too. Sure it's "fake" but when it's all there is, it gets boring fast

And for normies to be lapping it up so hard and astroturfing the internet with all the saccharine praise, really makes you think. Everyone scared of coochie or nipples, saying the "creators were taking advantage", but what of a one-man movie production where all he does is brutalize women as violently as possible, literally defiling their bodies for humor. Weird s***

I'm a horror stan btw, and have been on set doing gore effects. it's fun, I love the s***. THESE MOVIES however, feel exploitative imo, in a real way. P*** tier acting, but with this level of care towards violence is offputting as f***.

I don’t think I can get over the god awful acting to ever enjoy these. Plus it’s just gore p***. I need to be invested in the story at least a little bit and don’t think these movies are going to ever be capable of doing that for me.

About the gore, let’s be honest the prop effects they do is better than cgi in horror, whoever is the prop/ makeup artist should be in the industry.

There is some creepy quality to this that is missing from industry horror like the little girl that appears in the car looking at you with her eyes glowing but she’s semi out of distance range where you can barely make out her face but can see the glowing eyes.

Yeah the acting is mid it’s obvious. But art the clown is a great slasher idea and the 3rd movie in this franchise solidifies that

Not wrong. But I only follow this series on the outside through YT clips because of the supposed Heaven vs Hell story arc they inserted in part 2. Part 1 sounds like a snooze fest outside of see girls being cut in half.
