A few easy ways to tell online nowadays:

1. Google. Just simply Googling "album name vinyl" and seeing the search results you get will tell you if it's real or not. If you see anything that says "import", it's not real.

2. Retailers. If a vinyl is listed for sale at numerous major retailers/record stores (Amazon, Target, Best Buy, Rough Trade, Walmart, etc.), it is 100% real.

3. Artist Webstores. There are some artists that only sell vinyl in limited quantities on their official websites, so an easy way to find these is just searching an artist's name + website and then clicking the "store" or "merch" option, and seeing if it's still available to buy there.

Biggest rule of thumb is to stay away from anything that says "import"
