not accurate
if this story is true, the end product would've been more similar to Late Registration or Be by Common
getting a beat by Ye in 2018 is very different than a beat by 2007 Ye
"it got to the point Lil Wayne had to tell him to stop sending them through."
Kanye was harassing this nigga
also what happened to all of the unused beats
knowing Wayne, he probably put verses on the beats he liked and then moved on to the next beats he wanted to do
those sessions likely exist on someone's hard drive or in a studio or burned on a CD
if Comfortable & Let The Beat Build were on those beats, then he probably has at least 2-4 more completed songs on this batch of beats
Never heard this it’s fire is there anymore
Those the two best songs on the album too
Comfortable may be one of my favorite beats of his ever
Those the two best songs on the album too
not objectively true
Comfortable is top 5
but C3 is a crazy stacked album
if you ask me it's
1. Tie My Hands
2. Got Money
3. Mrs. Officer
4. Mr. Carter
5. Comfortable
"it got to the point Lil Wayne had to tell him to stop sending them through."

Kanye was grinding in the past like nobody else
Kanye was grinding in the past like nobody else
I hate say s*** like that but Ye‘s work ethnic really put him to the top

“It kinda feels like you’re going to do something big with hip-hop” grateful to have seen a legend become a legend.
Do we know who produced all the leaked C3 sessions songs or is some of them unknown?
If Did It Before is the only one from Ye that got out, wonder what happened to the rest
yuuuup
classic album regardless
let the beat build build one of the best rap songs ever
second best song on the album behind Playing With Fire

I wonder who produced Help!
it’s crazy y’all made this thread
I’ve been on a 05-07 Wayne deep dive and saw a Fader article where he said this out of his own mouth.
“…To that end, Wayne has recruited acclaimed (and equally ego-driven) producer Kanye West to provide beats as well as aesthetic guidance for his next album, Tha Carter III. "West is gonna help solidify me as an artist, not just in hip-hop," he says. "Cause I wouldn't even be thinking that way if I didn't hear his beats.
He got me on a song with Babyface!"
I assumed it fell thru because of his mother but interesting to hear Wayne actually told him to stop sending.
This should have still been a project somewhere in 08-09. What Watch The Throne should have been tbh they could have used a different name though
For them to have no direct predecessors late 2000’s Ye and Wayne are crazy influential and birthed so much of what our culture revolves around now lol
