do you think i have forgotten, do you think i have forgotten
do you think i have forgotten about you?
About You is one of their finest records, and somewhere in the best songs of the year imo. It stands so far ahead of the rest of this for me sadly.
That Oh Caroline-In Love-All I Need run is really good too tho.
There was something 'bout you that now I can't remember
It's the same damn thing that made my heart surrender and I miss you on a train, I miss you in the morning I
never know what to think about
i'm mad they put one of their very best songs (About You) on here, and then the rest..........
Just listened to NoaCF for the first time , loving the interspersing of electronic tracks amongst the more conventional 1975 songs. “The Birthday Party”, “Tonight”, “Shiny Collarbone”, and “What Should I Say” are my current favourites on the album. Seems like a natural progression sonically from A Brief Inquiry.

Being funny is definitley their apex imo
an ex of mine introduced me to them during iliwys era. Matty’s songwriting growth has been phenomenal. Even their earlier stuff, while raw, gestures to the ambition of their current albums. Love the extremes they took it to on Notes. Being funny is their most focused and a refinement of iliwys/abiior vision

i'm really happy i got into them now bc i love how grown up their catalogue sounds in the live shows, and then it gives me something else to hear when i check the studio versions
Can't wait to finally see them live at Parklife this weekend. Been waiting since 2015 to catch them
