Is anyone still shocked Sekiro won GOTY? I thought it would be RE2 or Death Stranding. I wonder if RE2 took a hit because it’s technically a remake. I think it’s a bit weird remakes can get nominated.

However, I haven’t play it yet so I can’t really judge that myself.

They weren’t going to give it to Death Stranding it woulda caused a massive uproar and backlash.

I don’t think the care about, I just think the panel of voters probably had mixed feelings on it like the public did.

Still surprised Sekiro beat RE2 if you assume RE2 doesn’t take a hit because it’s a remake.
