Ghost is the epitome of a TLOU2 haters favorite game. Not tryna take away anything from Ghost but the game would not be getting ANYWHERE NEAR the praise it’s getting rn if TLOU2 wasn’t as controversial as it is. And I don’t even think TLOU2 is GOTY, FF7R takes it for me.

They managed to blend turn based combat and character action combat really well. Tight controls and engaging combat, a great soundtrack, and a true “videogame experience” that I haven’t really felt in a long time. It’s also great seeing these classic characters fully realized to the original vision, something that’s been skewed for years because of Advent Children/Kingdom Hearts etc.

Remake really redefines what a game remake can be, as FF7R isn’t really a remake, as it is more of a sequel than anything else
