Lol Straight Outta Compton is a Undisputed classic, yet The Chronic and Illmatic are just βmiddle level classicsβ ?
going off of the main criteria that differentiates the undisputed and general levels (even people who don't know anything about the genre have heard of it), it makes sense to me
solely within the context of rap and among rap fans, i feel like almost everyone would agree that Straight Outta Compton is not as good as The Chronic or Illmatic, but the first one is the only one my grandma would recognize the name of
bro i no u tried and everything, but nobody reading that

A classic literally just means whatever stands the test of time and continues to be played long after its release
Not true, there are instant classics
only one of these has a hollywood movie
and the chronic is literally in that same movie

When you think of a classic rap album you think of Illmatic
Finally, someone using cult classic. Lol. Iβve been trying to get folks to use this term bc it applies to so many great albums that people scoff at because of limited commercial success.
Updated op for spelling mistakes, organization & better clarification/explanations.
Props to @op for sharing interesting ideas

I know this probably a joke but theres albums of all genres in every tier.
Only Undisputed is there with one because I wanted one album for every main genre. Pop, RnB, Soul, Rap, Jazz & Rock. I added Nevermind later (becasue I felt like I couldnt go without mentioning it agter I thought about it) so yeah now thats two Rock, but one of each after.
While theres two to three in the others & one for every other genre.
So actually there is more Rap SO LUL WRONG
