I have no idea what you’re getting at

But name dropping Outkast is an awesome rebuttal lmao

They deflee know what sounds good.

Kanye is the epitome of a rap artist who knows what sounds good, rather than to just rely on bars.

It’s the only way to justify the last three minutes of ‘Runaway’ lmao

I know you're probably trolling but there's tons of "artistic" rappers out there.

Arrested Development, The Roots, Goodie Mob, Q Tip, Lauryn Hill, Childish Gambino, The Neptunes, J Dilla, Madlib, Timbaland, DJ Quik, Outkast, Death Grips, and Kendrick are every bit as "artistic" as Kanye.

Kanye is just more mainstream so he gets more attention for his artistry. And I'm a HUGE Kanye fan saying this.

ll cool j was the best hiphop entertainer in the 80s. his energy was literally unmatchable and on top of that you getting bar'd the f*** up, he advanced the whole culture in big way. was lowkey the michael jackson and jordan of hiphop in the 80s was almost instantly looked upon as iconic, jarring, ultra charismatic and he was also young, was really like the first young nigga to go super crazy. hes not in my goat convos cause i didn't experience him in real time but i 100 percent overstand why he's really considered the goat
