because you're making the wrong argument. the argument should be that AI should be classified as a 1, because he is a 1. People had it wrong then and it would be going in the wrong direction to make the same mistake with Curry. AI wasn't considered a 1 because people were stupid and trying to hold onto tradition, but we've since woke up and realized point guards can be scorers too.
