I take it back Iām hella grateful Hall N Nash 2 dropped
Michaelangelo is so goddamn good
I put El-P and maybe Madlib above Alc but thatās probably it
El-P over Alchemist as a producer? What are 5 or so projects that he's fully produced outside Run the Jewels? (not a fan of the series, AT ALL)
No disrespect to Joey whatsoever but Alchemist was doing straight up tax deductible charity work when he gave him the Trap Door beat
Honestly that might be a top 5 Al beat oat for me
I could listen to it on loop for an hour
I'm prepared for the incoming Jordan laff's
But I think RA the Rugged Man would've killed the beat suite on TMVTL.
The ALC side of Benny's Everybody Can't Go sounds like a safe, street, mainstream project. I think Mid-boy having his handprint on this lowered the quality of the entire project meaning Al couldn't veer off too much in terms of sound. Not to mention the no sample handicap.
Just realized I haven't listened to Proof of Burden since it came out. Not sure how he gets so much praise as a producer

He isnāt Kanyeās protege if I remember correctly. Bad blood between them or something like that
Iād kill myself if Hit-Boy was the best hip-hop had to offer going forward. Not exaggerating

Hit-Boy definitely influenced Alcās side of the album for the worse

it isnāt in all honesty. heās a very dull producer. iām never wowed by anything heās done. he doesnāt have a signature sound like alc or preemo he doesnāt do various styles well like a pharrell heās just dull. have no hope especially when he works with benny, nas etc he doesnāt branch out
Crazy seeing Em and Alch just chilling at a football game lol like yall canāt head to the studio after this š? Is there some kind of law Iām missing?

you're trippin. That beat is great

if Alc spends any more time around hitboy, its going to negatively impact Alc

Yeah. Hoping their collab drops earlier than later to get this partnership over with, for good.
Would be even better if it never drops

No way you just said Pharrell does various styles well
Dude has been making the same beat for the past three years and theyāre crap every time

I feel like hit boys sound has changed for the worst
The beats on this album are better than a lot of the other stuff he's made in the last 5 years

Alc gave Big Hit possibly his best beat of 2023 jus sayin

Man Iām Rollin is SO good!
you're trippin. That beat is great
It was a compliment to Alc
I love that beat so much that when I first heard it I got fooled into thinking I loved Joey more than I actually did
????
Iām saying Iām more than happy with Alc being around HB if heās making beats like Man Iām Rollin
No way you just said Pharrell does various styles well

iām talking about years and years of music. i donāt disagree heās been bad for a while but he still has several pop/rap/r&b songs that are good from his production. hit boy cant even do āneo dustā well
