It's really well written, simple to understand and I love the inclusion of all the different stories from AA members at the back. For those of us in recovery from addiction, it plays such a vital role. One of the most important and special books i've ever read. The cover is pretty good too

im struggling heavy with sobriety, by that i mean i am drinking like a fish and also taking high doses of benzos while i drink

am always happy when a program works for someone, i feel uneasy about complete abstinence tho

I was using meth multiple times a day every day mixed with X**** and anything else I could get my hands on. I absolutely loved d**** and could not imagine a life without them. Even catching felonies and misdemeanors and multiple rehabs/jails couldn’t stop me. I had to be stopped and thank god I was stopped

I got in a car wreck and totaled my car. I was drinking and driving.. smh. I gave up drink and have to take DUI classes. We read this book. Sober now, lucky to be alive and not hurt anybody
