So mRNA vaccines when they originally were developed were trialled for cancer therapies

They weren't considered vaccines but more treatments

The side effects of many of the early trials were linked to presence of autoimmune antibodies

Something which was considered a reasonable price to pay if you had cancer

But at the time they were too new to really establish long term correlation with autoimmunity

Fast forward to this COVID epidemic

The trials were poorly designed and carried out

With no thought for long term side effects

cus this thread either a troll or the "doctors" he mentioned are dumb as s***

unless they completely lied about the function of the antivirus and added a bunch of extra s*** theres no way injecting mRNA would cause cancer unless it directly inhibited the translation of proteins responsible for regulating cell division. which is possible but unlikely, translation is a robust process and cells are generally good at doing it properly even with the introduction of foreign DNA/RNA (see viruses)

those side effects have nothing to do with cancer progression

What does that mean? I'm not agreeing with rightwing nuts, they were right about the vaccine but not for the right reasons.

    What’s the right reason?

I’ts got to do with the virus mutating due to the vaccine?

I don’t think OP is saying it causes cancer

He said they were originally used for people who HAD cancer

but idk I’m just here to spectate tbh

It's not about getting cancer it's about the complications with your immune system and when you had cancer the potential side effects were something that was ok.

what are we supposed to do with this information

As someone in the medical community who will be specializing in infectious diseases, I can tell you with 100% confidence that the mrna vaccines have not caused an uproar within the medical community at all

Because it was originally used as a experimental cancer treatment with many adverse health effects that you could accept if you had cancer. The current vaccine had laughable quality control the and manufacturers removed all their responsibility. It was simply irresponsible to do this on such a large scale.

The anti vaxxers were simply anti but didn't know why, but they were right

    i see now

yea that is possible. its totally possible that mRNA vaccines will have off target effects. i misinterpreted what you were trying to say

there are screens for autoimmune diseases tho so if it were true we would eventually see a spike in autoimmune illness. so if that happens then id say youre on to something

this actually makes a lot of sense. we do experiments like this in my lab and based on the mRNA used the side effects can be pretty f***ing bad (we work with fish tho)

Yeah I know a bunch of ppl who have autoimmune issues since getting the vax similar to getting long covid itself
