This has become my favourite edition of this album. The Original Detroit Mix
A lot more clearer, more of marvin's vocals layered, naturally EQd
I got the AKG N400 and they sound fantastic for wireless audio, it's really surprising how far bluetooth audio gear has come and this doesn't even have lossless wireless.

it's rated a B++ here by Crinacle, his highest rated TWS IEM
great sound, great value
Best I've heard this album sound is on a needledrop of the new UHQR.
and here's a pressing that made me appreciate more an album that I was never that hot on, as much as apparently everybody else on earth
King Record Co. Japan | GXK 8055 | 1958 / 1978
Most reissue were mastered brightly to bring out detail but that is usually a double edged sword. By brightening, they made the whole soundstage a lil weirder. This darker version, although closer to the original mono (i've not heard an original stereo), has a soundstage I can wrap my ahead around, there's detail you can grasp that you couldn't in the remasters i've heard and it, over all, beats my previous go-to, 1992 Wally mastered pressing
AKG die hard and for 150 i may have to cop
Not much of a audiophile post here but I'm looking for great half in-ear earbuds which is a rare things nowadays it seems

Haven't used these in forever, like since the only earphones I had were those s***ty apple earbuds with my ipod touch 1st gen lmao. I asked some audiophiles who are into this type of stuff
spaces indicate they are recommendations from different people
$300 moondrop chachonne
$100 Toneking Dendroaspis Viridis
$50 hzsound bell rhyme
$6 yincrow x6
@PADYBU are you an audio engineer? If so can you recommend some resources on mixing

What's their/your opinion on Galaxy Buds Live?
I don't have a iPhone, if I did I'd just get the airpods

They didn't mentions those
You'd have a much better selection for value and sound if you were to go for an in ear. Doesn't have to be super in ear like the etymotics. earbuds have to boost the low mids to compensate for having s*** base because there's no seal

I don't know it just seems like it's not my thing I don't like how they feel in the ear, I got the big sony xm3 wireless ones and I got pixel buds and I just don't seem to enjoy the whole in-ear experience
So I'm looking for half in-ear ones
Because I ALSO have these that came with my phone
And they're extremely comfortable (not talking sound cause they're pretty basic)
But they sit very nicely
Great thread @op
Anyone else know Eddie Sancho? He mixes nearly all of Alchemist’s stuff and did lots for Preemo in the 90s
I stg, each album he engineers has been mixed progressively worse than the previous one, most recent being Conway’s GDMM and Benny’s Tana Talk 4, both of which I’d say have straight up bad mixing.
It’s gotten to the point where I lose hype for an album if I see he’s the engineer
@op I'm listening to Off Season in Atmos and it just sounds much better, though it's quieter the audio doesn't feel as grating, beats and the bass pops out more too. THIS is what the album should've sounded like in the first place tbh

That's great. What are you listening to it on?
@op you happen to have a hq version of the Way 2 Fonky album cover by quik. Only ones online are scans of the cd booklet that are really badly pixelated
