yeah i don't even care about nz, i barely care about WA... just filthy the NPC isn't on because i make a f***load of cash on it lol!
the blowtorch will come
Mhmm. I donāt blame people really, seems like we are all just waiting to see what our state leaders do respectively, beyond that everything else is noise.
It feels like groundhog day š© lucky money isnāt an issue, can imagine how worse itād be if I was stressed because of that
its frustrating when people dont get the vaccine immediately but its cynical to just say f*** it and let it run through the āvaccinatedā community which is logistically impossible cause even if the unvaccinated stay inside they still share households with people who will go outside and are vaccinated, and those people donāt deserve to die just because
In the long term ideally COVID becomes a nefarious flu that we got a shot for every year, but for now we must get the cases down, 1000 cases is not the time to say f*** it
I am agree with chips that eventually we will have to open cause economy is gonna suffer and we canāt live our lives inside but opening up now is the wrong decision when some major hospitals are already at capacity and going into spill over (especially Westmead)
Umm itās hard to say but it also seems that half state governments not gonna follow though with what federal government wants so honestly idk š¤·āāļø

Probably why I have opinion I do. I am still working and my workplace actually hired new people cause sales are been going up
I do feel sorry for people with business though, livelihoods destroyed
Gladys half ass lifting of restrictions is very unpopular seems like no oneās happy on what she did
Nsw dumped long time ago
Once itās 80% itās fair game, but itās too early tbh
Yah I agree lol
Yah I agree lol
Also federal government said every state needs to be at 80% in order to have freedom
In theory Gladys isnāt allowed to open until then

that makes sense but the thing is dan andrews has adopted a policy of elimination meaning that even with 80% vaccination we can still be under lockdown since even with vaccinations people still catch and spread covid.

Itās so unrealistic smh š¤¦š½āāļø
I seriously underestimated the mental toll this has taken on people, I feel bad now in hindsight.

yer fam.
let's say we get 80% vaccination -> covid still spreads like what is happening in israel and other places with high vax rates.
what do premiers do? if they finally admit we gotta live with it doesn't this mean we could of avoided lockdowns and have lived with it and saved months of our lives.
situation a mess.

qld and wa will never hit 80%
i doubt most states will tbh, most western countries won't/haven't
it will eventually be a fixed date where everyone has had X amount of time to get two doses
for nsw i guarantee things get moving in some fashion by november because there will literal carnage if not

Also with that outbreak recently thereās flaws in the testing method itself. A mate of mine lives in the building where those movers went to. He was saying that they incentivised getting tested, $450 per test every two days, but some people didnāt get tested until late on so itās unclear if they had it or not. Clusterfuck
i dont understand how you can be living in these current times and be still anti-vaxx regarding the covid vaxx. i got quite a few friends who are by most standards well educated, intelligent young adults who will happily snort coke, do sarms/steroids, smoke and drink alcohol and yet because they "dont know the long-term consequences and ramifications" of the vaccine they refuse to get vaccinated. im all for freedom of choice and deciding what they put into their own respective bodies, but those people should face the consequences of their actions. honestly if you have a legitimate reason to not get vaccinated, i would like to hear it. also i reckon if the government said NOT to get vaccinated, these conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers would lol

no one cares about unvaccinated deaths in the US/UK because that's your personal choice
the same attitude needs to come in here. it's literally a gamble and you lose. i don't ask for others to stop their life because i dusted a grand on waikato +3.5
the covid kids thing is a legit psyop
but you're right areas like WA and NZ especially will flinch because they don't understand it's a new world. they haven't adjusted their expectations yet
the silver lining with the NSW outbreak is that I think that change in perspective is happening because now the option has been taken away; you just have to.

yeah mate this stint has been a lot worse but stick fat and if you're in nsw or vic i think the light is at the end of the tunnel (november)
if we're still locked down by the end of that month at least you/we have some ultraviolence to look forward too lol
hi, im locked in my apartment and failing uni
i have no motivation at all for uni. im in my third year but im over this s***. .
