Tbh Im a bit biased because Im left leaning but I thought Dan Andrews didnt do that bad a job, most of the stuff was out of his control. I think last years lockdown was overly long but it was consistent with the stupid COVID 0 strategy our federal govt was wanting

he did an okay job but f***ed up a lot also... mainly with the wait he went about running hotel quarantine which was completely different to every other state

he is a scrub like most of this country's leaders

all the premiers have done their best with the s***ty hand the federal government has dealt them

I don't think Andrews has done a 'good' job (I would say comfortably the worst of the premiers) but as you say the underlying issues are not of his making
