for clothes I'd second what dr3am_weaver_479 recommended. CBD will have your staples and then suburbs like Fitzroy/Collingwood/Brunswick will have heaps of vintage/thrift stores. These the type of places rich kids wanting to live poor are.

I have some good food recommendations depending on where you're staying and how far you're willing to travel.

Clubs can be a bit hit and miss for me depends on your music taste.
