Kurt Vile had the best feature on here. I almost cried
To me he was the worst part
Tweakin
honestly would’ve been cool to just hear the instrumental. His groveling ass voice ruined the song

I feel like he added to the mood in a good way especially with his cadence. The instrumental was sweet asl I wish they would’ve let it ride out a bit more
Finally got around to this and man im not feeling it. Might need to relisten but it's no where close to wildflower :(

Its a grower, dont give up on it
I was being serious about listening to it on a starry night in a pretty, lit up place. It really puts things into perspective a LOT

It's nice for studying so I'll be returning to it. Just not as bouncey and groovy as their older stuff

For sure, this definitely feels more personal especially given robbie’s recovery. It’s a nice change of pace from their bouncier stuff but I do hope they gravitate back to that sound a bit more on the next album since they’re so damn good at it
ik thats what i mean, sily ill only listen to as an album, wildflower has songs ill come back too individually but its better as a whole experience. this feels more like a hip hop producer album where the producers puts together songs with featured artists that could go on artists albums.
Oh, my bad. Completely agree
in shambles everytime i hear Mick Jones
he still has it
might be my fav song on the album
Wait
Listening to SILY as anything other than one singular holistic listening experience ?
This might be their best concept yet

Was like saturday night inside out
another great album from one of greatest music duos of all time. can’t stop listening to it.
born to lose, the devine chord, we go on, music makes me high, the title track, gold sky, reflecting light
these guys never miss. definitely in my top 5 favourite albums of the year.
This is the best release of the week tbh
absolutely. cudi and taylor don’t even come close.
Definitely my least favorite on the album. He’s a good rapper but I fail to see how he fit on this album
well it is an avalanches album lol. they’ve seemed to be going the Gorillaz route since wildflower (lots of collaborations) and I think mishmashing features on tracks like putting non matching jigsaw pieces together is kind of the idea. there’s nothing for featured artists to really “fit” into, they’re just a part of the record all in their own ways and just come and go as the album moves on. the album is a journey of some sort, sort of a compilation.
Denzels verse fits fine with this format
do you feel the same way about Danny and doom on frankie sinatra? just curious
