that's not what he's saying - just that it felt right at the time. i'm sure his issues contributed to the music but there was a way bigger group at the time and esp dudes like darren who contributed a lot
i get bands shed people and you move on but there is a bit of revisionism going on with respect to who made the first album
nah I'm not saying that's the only meaning especially given he was just 1/2 of the core creative team but especially since they bring that up themselves it feels like that might've been how he (or Tony) felt about it at the time (or now)
I just think it's a p beautiful way to interpret it... "since i left you, i found the world so new"
I wish Darren Seltmann was still apart of Avalanches he played a big part of my fav track from them ‘extra kings’ beautiful track.
did he quit music altogether? It's kinda weird

nah he and his wife did some music for a local aussie tv show the other year. definitely more lowkey though. i would be really interested in a proper interview, james dela cruz didn't speak too highly of the situation behind wildflower. but people grow up so it's probably time to move on from that lol
when Born To Lose hits
might be my fav part of the album right there
one of the avalanches’ best songs for sure. right up there with the material on SILY.
Is the album out?
nah we're just speculating about how it's gonna sound

Sorry dude I didn’t know man damn u d***
have you ever heard this? he produced the ep with his girlfriend of the time (now his wife, with a kid!)
wow this is a vibe
Sorry dude I didn’t know man damn u d***
brah it's literally in the title
now that u know, listen to it and tell us what u think lmao
Sorry dude I didn’t know man damn u d***
It's "out now" in the title Hope u enjoy
might legit be fantano's worst review since MBDTF, unreal
Really weird take from him.
Thought the first half was AOTY quality and the 2nd half was WAOTY.
Makes no sense to me the whole thing is cohesive
Can't get over how well this flows. Literally no weak spots. I do admit, I've only played Weightless all the way through once but the thought behind it is great

yeah probably goes a bit too long doesn't it.
I have found though if you let it run through it loops real nicely back in to the start of the album which is cool
at 6:49 rivers performs the song acoustic, it’s not great quality bc it’s zoom (yes rivers is cool like that with his fanbase) but it makes you appreciate his composition even greater
