It was the reason listed for the big delay on Mickey 17. After Oppenheimer had a lot of success in imax, movie studios have been booking them way in advance

What studios really need to do is work with theater chains and IMAX to add more IMAX screens to theaters. Also convert a lot of the existing Lie-MAX screens to real IMAX if possible
