Is James going to give notes on plot points? Probably, but I highly doubt he's going to insert his tone or humor into films that aren't his.

Half of snyder being so f***ed up was that batman had already had an entire career and was just kinda hanging out for the rest of the film

Even if unintentional, the way he phrased this kinda makes a lot of fans' points. It's how any studio exec should look at things. He kinda went out of his way to mention Reeves tho (which he's seem to have done a lot lately).

WB/DC as a company has its flagship Batman so the obvious move was to give DC its Superman.. Now we're moving to Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, etc.... and populating an ecosystem of characters with strong stories.

Imo this matters far, far more than a DCU or specific iterations of characters based on some 10 year plan thats not fixed anyways.
