Have Gilda be involved in the criminal elite gothamite world. Harvey doesnt know. Would make your point about the tragedy of his transformation even more potent if he’s fighting for righteousness he thinks his wife stood for. In the same realm as TDK but I think it’s part of the dent character.

I don't think it is. Reevesverse has already covered its iteration of those events and even into Dark Victory

Carmine, Sal Maroni, Alberto, Johnny Vitti, and the entire gangs are all dead. Sofia's already back in prison too. And that's alongside a dead mayor, DA and police commissioner. They specifically already wiped out the Holiday killer's targets and ended the "mob" era of Gotham, which was a key function of those comics

Dent's upbringing and his father Christopher weren't elements of TLH. All there really is here is Gilda, which would have to be altered and expanded anyways given what i said in the last paragraph
