I don't think it really reveals anything though. That scene doesn't get Batman any further to understanding the Riddler. At best, it unveils fears of how similar Bruce is to him, which we didn't need "Joker" to tell us. Joker basically tells Bruce what he already knows

End scene coulda been done better, but it informs us "Joker" is stashed in Arkham and influencing other inmates like Riddler. We didn't need to know that buts its cool assuming there's future use for Arkham here
