Yeah. Lean into Lex’s anti-might is right mindset and show that maybe he has a point about that in relation to his disdain for Superman. Then that final battle could end with Superman standing down and showing Lex grace. That would do a few things:

• show that the protagonist grew due to the antagonist
• reverse the anti-might is right theme from being Lex’s to being Superman’s in an ironic turn of events
• show Lex that Superman isn’t an absolute all powerful being like he thinks he is; Superman is good
