The ScientistI love The Batman. It’s my favorite Batman film because it’s actually about Batman. Reeves’ movies may be grounded, but it feels heightened compared to Nolan’s trilogy. My overall point was the legacy of The Dark Knight has been more of a net negative as opposed to positive. A lot of people view The Dark Knight as a big watershed moment that gave comic book films credibility. In a way, sure, but it feels like it was embarrassed to be a true Batman movie. The Batman clearly wasn’t.
