isn’t it? i was so mad bc brian was already excited to make a follow up, a traditional rock’n’roll album jerry lewis chuck berry type that they never done before, how exciting! but mike ego took over and shut that down... but yeh sunmer’s gone is a miracle it happened, mike said he would’ve had it another way if he had known of the song, thank god they kept him separated for this song could happen as such!

it got so lucky one time doing flea market some dude was selling his collection and had multiple bbs i bought them all one of them happened to be smiley smile of all things, very rare to find it like that!

one time i found also a special vinyl which was like a twofer edition of holland and pet sounds blended together, i didn’t think much of it at the time and passed on it cos i already had pet sounds but i found out late through researches that i made my biggest mistake: this bundle includes the best mono mix of pet sounds ever and that mix hasn’t been rereleased since on cd or digital or new vinyl so fml for that

also one time again at flea market i got miu album but i didn’t check and only found out once at home the vinyl inside was surf’s up, not even mad

i also love the songs on it that weren’t smile material, in fact gettin’ hungry might be my fav off of the album
