we started talking 2 bands at once lol. the s*** vocals, impenetrable, 200 live albums band is Grateful Dead.

Stones, the earlier song, (and not impenetrable) I would say more of their music is like the 1st hard rock part of that song, but even then they have a decent amount of different styles and more than our Ithaka narrowing them down to just blues

the pop aspect is definitely beatles but the overall sound and RAWK aspect and riffs, even vocals are a lot more stones

and of course the live aspect, even though Kiss is taken way further and more theatrical it cant be denied that that entire format and archetype of rock show descends from the stones
