nowhere did i say that so i guess thats why youre confused all i said was that zappa made both doo wop and weird effect type s***

no one else having a doo wop song lead into this

along with groundbreaking jazz fusion that even predates Miles Davis' fusion stuff, noise, free jazz, spoken word, satire, plain old rock

my point is that zappa incorporated doo wop into his experimental music pieces as a whole, not necessarily that the doo wop sections themselves are the experimentation, its in the whole structure

i just dont like the massive hyperbole of "everyone else was just doing prog or blues". i love crediting brians experimentation too but no need to exaggerate acting like hes the only one while everyone else was generic is all. great age for experimental music and infinite amounts beyond generic styles
