what scares me is that there is a video that i can’t find anymore of brian meeting again with him around that era where he’s filmed in his office and says landy is the best psychologue or something to that effect
wonder what was going on there
might need to try and dig this up, haven't heard about it

not gonna be easy ithink
They got it under lock & key 🔐
yeah they might have tried to undo it
worst part about this whole debacle is brian absolutely would've followed dennis' path without landy yet landy left him way worse then prior to the "treatments"
so beautiful
definitely surprised they came up with a cover to match that grim set of songs

This most un-Beach Boys of covers is a painting based on the sculpture End of the Trail, by James Earle Fraser.... It would be really easy to suppose that this image of an exhausted warrior whose people is on the brink of extinction was chosen as an a***ogy to the Beach Boys’ commercial and artistic plight.

this foldout imagery really ties the package together
ecological desolation coinciding with Brians emotional desolation

thats thanks to jack rieley who was a young hip dj and was hired as manager to rebrand the band among the cool people, smile was picking up traction so he suggested they make an album set based off of the emblematic song, he randomly found the artwork as a postcard i believe, either him or carl or something along those lines iirc
