I just saw this man, this s*** is so cool. I had no idea either of these. the Feel Flows connection is crazy because it’s incorporated so well. i think Robin’s songwriting on Crack-Up/Shore is so strong and i know a lot of fans prefer the earlier two and ep but i think from Crack-Up on he’s just evolved so much in that way, and i feel like the newer influences like BB definitely play a role in that, especially on Shore

when the fleet foxes first made noise they were constantly compared to the beach boys (that's how i discovered them), just like animal collective, that was part of the appeal but they've carved out their own lane as time went on.

both the songs are written by dennis, wouldn’t it be nice to live again is sung by him while 4th of july has carl on it

that’s why i been yall need to give the la album a chance because really at the end of the day it’s a similar case to sunflower or surfs up: one or two songs by mike or bruce that should’ve never been on it but has great contributions from both carl and dennis that makes up for it

the carl and dennis songs on la album are as beautiful
