yeah his 90s voice is very distinctive, his “doot doot doot” are easily recognizable here

my fav beatles / beach boys story is when they brought ringo on stage to play back in the ussr of all songs - not only a beach boys inspired song by the beatles but the one ringo didn’t get to play on, now he has his revenge and he killed it!

Back in the ussr has been my fav Beatles song of all time since i was a kid, mainly bc it was such a clear beach boys pastiche and it's hilarious to see such an american style applied to a song about the ussr. Genius song lmao.

I knew there was some tension around the white album period but I'm not as deep into Beatles lore so i didn't know Ringo wasn't on the track damb, glad he got to play it with the boys themselves tho lmao.
