ringo deserves his credit tbh he had a standout skill and that’s what makes a great drummer great
it’s why i love phil spector drum beats the most he made them sing
brian too - he hated hi hats so you NEVER hear hi hats on brian produced song, if you do on a beach boys song and brian is involved either it means someone ghost produced it behind it or he wasn’t fully involved
happens a lot of time in modern s*** like last bbs album says it’s produced by brian but come on you think he would allow that
he does have some exceptions see do it again but it’s RARE

Exactly lol people don't understand the type of s*** Ringo had to play over like Day in the life and Strawberry Fields, it's hard as s*** lmao and he stood up and did exactly what was needed for the tracks. He was great at what he did and delivered every time.
