The fact that Morale came out makes me believe that it was apart of the long game for Kendrick. "He's going to come at my character, here lets drop an album that cleans that up a bit".

one material thing we gotta mention as a consequence for Drake here is this -- Not Like Us effectively banned Drake from his most important city (Atlanta) and an entire rap region (west coast). this will probably hurt him the most as anytime he'll come anywhere near these spots he'll be looked at sideways no matter what happens

Amazing writeup @op don't underestimate 6:16, that was legit the greatest moment in the beef. Kendrick came back charged and dropped the bombshell early, he has a mole. And drake didn't listen. He had a planned release for FM. Now if kendrick didn't have a mole, it's so many questions, how did he know drake would drop before and how did he tie the family ties theme to make meet the graham's

All those damning accusations and character dissertations. The biggest being a second daughter...was it true obviously not but did it rattle known w**** drake, absolutely.

I'm legit disappointed in drake, I really overestimated cause he was really dominant, we had no choice but to listen to his chest banging cocky raps, he had the streets and the suits behind him. I lost so much respect for him tbh

I would kill for a short biopic based on what had occurred during this weekend. or a well-researched book in the future with how this impacted both of their careers. preferably if its not affected by either party's interest

All valid points, but honestly, the past few weeks just showed me that this beef was completely irrelevant
These are the 2020s bruh, not the 2000s, streaming changed the game completely
I guarantee you, the same people that bumped Drake will still bump Drake
The majority of the public that always viewed Drake as an impostor king of hiphop, someone that doesn't belong on the throne, they just had their views reinforced
Both sides were too entrenched before all this started, nothing will change significantly
When looked at 1st week numbers, Drake was already on a decline and that still would've been happening without the beef
Kenny never really cared about being the most popular in a sense that he'll drop every year, be like "the summer is mine every year etc", he'll just go back to whatever the f*** he was doing before this and drop every 5 years or so

I actually hope both of these clowns take a long breather, reflect on their dumbass actions and come back with actually decent albums in a few years cause both been dropping some mid for the past 5 or so years, thats the only positive that can come out of this s***show tbh
