"If someone asked me what the future of hip hop could sound like, I say this is a glimpse of it."
Rock is starting to become a huge influence in current hip hop. We saw with Thugger (even though he kinda half-assed it midway) and we saw with Carti with the 'punk' aesthetic/influence with WLR. And if rumor's are right, Kendrick's new album is supposed to have rock elements too.
So no I'm not saying Kenny Mason is the future of hip hop (no one artist is the future of anything), but I am saying he shows a glimpse of what the future of this current type of hip hop (that includes themes of rock heavily) can sound like.
No billy woods?
billy woods is very hit and miss with me ngl. especially with the flow.
spongebob is a blassic tho.

Kenny Mason is 27?
*26
but Kanye was 27 when College Dropout dropped (pun intended)
I don't really understand when hip hop became a "young man's" game where mad niggas aint blow til they late 20s - mid 30s lol.

Don't let the musicality and the singing and the harmonies distract you from the fact that this nigga got BARS bars all over this s***.
