I should play the newest version of this right? Never played isaac before, and I've seen people complain that repentance is too hard. However people get mad at everything so I wanted to ask this thread before I buy

Just beat moms heart, when can I safetly use mods? I want to use the mod that tells me what items does, but I read that using mods blocks you from unlocking stuff (up to a certain point). Been having most success with Magdalene so far, that extra HP really helps.

After you beat moms heart once I think you’re free to use any mod you like.
