I watched the trailer.
as I said I was avoiding watching the trailer not to hate. If people are hyped for that cool with me just not my taste
I read something it’s based on a sketch from the writer and it shares the same name from that
!https://youtu.be/QOPwQdDu-D8yes it is from that same writer and actor he is in the movie. Its that sketch turned into the full movie plot

I’m sure it appeals to some but I’d have rathered it was a serious horror rather than comedy that’s just me

To me personally when you make that many jokes about being black it isn't funny to me but again to each their own I am not trying to hate.
Would love a serious black horror franchise that worked jokes in every so often but this is just more a comedy. But based on the original sketch to now I guess its dope that he made that small sketch to a full movie.

!https://youtu.be/QOPwQdDu-D8This did get a chuckle out of me ngl seems like some of the jokes are reused in the trailer tho
I'm mad that I wanna see this ironically, i'm too old for that
I feel like if one white person laughed too loud in the theater a fight would break out

The tagline on the promo poster sounds like a better title.
"We can't all die first."

It really does lmao.
Black comedy won't make a comeback until critics(those white adjacent ones too)say they don't get it. Every black comedy classic back then was misunderstood by white critics lol
Damn it’s directed by Tim Story? That makes me lose some faith
Only movie I really enjoyed from him is Barbershop

Black dynamite was dope without making every joke about being black . It’s a writing issue
