Im on the fence with it tho at the same time I’m happy for her but i feel like people don’t know how it feels to deal with a family member with mental illness… her dad probably thought he was protecting her but it came off a little strong smh

He went so far with his conditions that I really don't believe it was kind-spirited after a while

honestly as much as i hate to say it i can see this happening

bipolar is very complex disorder, you could be so far gone that medicine cant fix u , u can be aight once u take medication

I think her dad tried to play the long road , give her forced medication so her chemical balance would level out. but in her case , she seems far gone , stephen fry & carrie fisher are celebs who deal/dealt with their disorder well

Britney just looks broken without repair and i dont see anything positive from her being free , he clearly hasnt done anything illegal or inhumane or his ass would be in jail, ppl on social media want to be "heros" so bad and are neglecting that shes suffering from a very bad disorder

jamie is probably waiting for the moment to tell the world "i told u so" when s*** goes bad

Let me add that jamie took things too far, but the "insanity" in his methods of locking her away should also reflect where britney is mentally and its not good

She was doing terrible under his "care" bro lol

All of her controversies happened under him & a lot of them involved her getting away from them

Also you dont help bipolar by forcing n taking full control out their lives lmao

Yeah I kinda get the feeling that she needs more help than people believe. I'm happy they're giving her a chance after all these years, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a legitimate reason she was being under his supervision all these years.

lemme just state this here, before others come & attack me

i agree with you , but am replying to op on the bases of her dad struggling to take care of her. I personally am not a professional psychologist and do not understand the topic of bipolar disorder pass the surface level of mood swings and the effects it has on people suffering from such mood swings

I personally think , that the media and social media have been avoiding addressing that britney suffers from this condition to funnel in their agenda of "freeing britney" one must ask themselves , surely her mom & sister who all love her weren't all in it for financial gains and would want the best for their sister, they probably seen some s*** we have not seen

remember the ipad video she posted on her insta and deleted , it was quite strange

i think bpd can be onset by trauma, after that you need medication (antipsychotics are used to stabilize the moodswings) and therapy to control it.

people can look very weird when theyre manic (kanye crying for example) but i dont think the solution is to lock them up since that only puts them under more stress (even though they do need to be protected from the spotlight)

You dont handle someone who has no feeling of control, by taking even more control away.

Conservatorship literally takes aways her personal rights and gives it to the one in charge. A lot of things we would consider inhumane is legal under that outdated contract.

He obviously wasnt helping, & in fact amplifying and triggering. When health officials also call this bullshit then thats saying something.

Im not a psych either but have dealt with bi polar n other forms of handicap people through my moms daycare. Its a very delicate situation, but their still an individual with personal rights.

Idc what social media is saying. I care about the supposed help not actually being of any help & the person wanting out. They have way too much control of her life, which isnt even normal and was only in placed since she was a teen originally who didnt have grounds to counter due to not being an adult.

He has control over her financials, body, career, day to day & even relationships family n non family. Literally everything.

Bi-polar does not mean non functional, & you can help & supervise her without literally owning her.

  • Sep 29, 2021

Even if the father is well intention (which i dont think he is), his help is obviously not helping, overstepping & is actually leading to moments of induced episodes. You wouldnt keep going to the same doctor that cant help or figure anything out for you, would you?

You dont have to own a person like a slave to help them. Most of the supposed help can be done without this contract.

She's still an individual & Conservatorships are not commonplace with people in a vein of hers lol.

yes thank you , the "feel good" moment of the free Britney movement will be the demise of britney spears

The fact that ppl / media companies are straight up skipping over the mental illness part , just so they can get likes and make docu series is quite frightening

like how cnn were attacking biden like crazy and when he became the dem front runner all their concerns about him being old & losing his memory got thrown out of the window

Also lets argue that i should not talk about her bipolar , she has been living a controlled life for a decade plus and ppl wanna put her out to the free world??? this is like going to a deserted part of the amazon rain-forest, grabbing a couple of tribes and then throwing them into central ny & not expecting them to go bat s*** crazy

...is she happy, though?. i figure with the money she has, she can be receiving way better conditions.

I agree with your point , i think when kanye was away from stress aka wyoming he was doing well with his disorder

i just feel like britney is emmm a little bit "Crazier" than ye (i hate using this word to describe her)

I can bring you to a fantasy world , bring you gifts , dine you with the nicest food . But that is far from reality

Its unfortunate our current technology cannot aid against serious illness like bipolar very well , but the truth is some people suffering from this disorder cannot be helped like at all

britneys reality might not be emm reality , i dont agree with the controlling tho . if shes gonna be wild let her be wild this is her destiny

exactly!! am sorry your family have to go through this

But some ppl on here simply dont understand how tough it is , almost like last year ppl saw kim as the bad guy for dealing with kanyes s***

if they dont wanna get help, they cant get help . Medication itself is not pleasant, Stephen fry said he mentally forces himself to take his meds even tho he doesnt want too

carrie fisher for years , seemed to be doing fine but we later find out that she was taking opioids, alcohol and cocaine just to feel "normal". Thats why i can see jamies point of view on why he was "man handling" her , i dont agree with this method

Idk what you mean by the first thing lol

Her father is not the help. I never said she didnt need help lmao, but that father is obviously not the one capable to do it & again, he CAUSED most of her controversies in her career.

Her reality is that she's a literal slave on a contract that isnt even used anymore that is only valid due to technicalities of her being a teen at the time.

No one saying she doesnt need help but how you think the father is the answer when he had over 20 years to actually do something positive for her should obviously tell you he is not the answer himself 💀
