Conservators aren't mean to be health experts but people that manage the finance and prevent them from doing reckless spending or harming themselves and other people on the daily basis. That's why most conservators tend to be family members instead of doctors or psychiatrists. Why would somone let millions of dollars be managed by a random health professional or a psychiatrist.
